Tip when in need of some string.

Find one of your old VHS tapes.

Wind to equal amount on each spoll.

Remove flap over tape.

Pull tape from middle after you have placed a plug.
(make a paper plug size to fit ).
In tape release hole to free the spools easy movement.
Sticky tape plug secure.
Stretch each yard you pull out manualy as you go.

It will fuse into one strand as the plastic stretches.

It will Make good string for tying beansticks.
Parcels etc.

You will never be alone.
Pull a strand of string
