Maesglas old Road to Pill
This bridge with a panier tank engine depicted was the main iron road that brought, Men machines food from our American cousins during the 1939-45 great war. From that now forgotten Newport docks, a life lne that saved our country; let us not forget those many seamen that crewed those cargo vessels and gave their lives. for goods that never went over the bridge.
