Notes for: Elizabeth Mortimore
Elizabeth carried on as Publican at the Sportman's Arms after Richard's death
in 1879 & she is in 1881. By 1889 there is a new licencee at the Pub and by
1891 Elizabeth is living in retirement at 16 Brook Street Tavistock with her
daughter Jessie & her husband Edward J. Wilkins & son Alfred Ernest Wilkins.
[RG/12/1749/f.109] Her occupation is given as a Retired Dressmaker. According
to Nink she lived with the family at Exeter Street (presumably Exeter Road?)
at the back of & above the shop before she died.
