Notes for: Agnes Vigars
Agnes was with her parents at Rushford, Lamerton when she was baptised in 1866
& in the 1871 Census. In 1881 she was a scholar & still with her parents at 16
Cottage, Lamerton. Agnes was with her widowed father in Lamerton Village in
1891. In 1896 she married within Ware Registration District in Hertfordshire.
It seems likely that her father was staying with her when he died in 1898 as
his death was registered at Ware as well. Agnes, Edwin & their son Reginald
are at Withycombe Raleigh, Devon, near Exmouth at the 1901 Census
(RG13/2029/83 - Census Index). We will have to look at the actual Census to
ascertain whether they were just visiting their widowed brother-in-law, Albert
Gibbins, or they had actually moved there from Hertfordshire.
