The cars wait in line, but the track is closed: there is too much lying water on the track. Vivian Meazza underestimates the strength and duration of the storm, and chooses to shelter under an umbrella. Significant mistake!

The storm continues and turns the banking into a waterfall. Meazza gives in and erects the hood with the help of Alan Hulley and Brandon Cox who keeps us dry(ish) by holding the umbrella.
