Ref Number 61109. Nylon playing pitch which was introduced in the early 1980s. It replaced the far superior felt pitch of the 1960s and 70s.

Ref Number 61178. The Astropitch is a tough rubber backed pitch with a felt playing surface. It went on sale around1980 (under reference number C.178) and was and was impressively packaged in a large tube. It was one of the most expensive items in the Subbuteo catalogue. In the mid 1990s the Astropitch was removed from the catalogue.

Ref Number 61213.The Mundial Goals appeared in the mid 1980s and were my favourite type of goal. They lasted until about 1993.

These are the standard goals for the new Hasbro range. They are self assembley and have large bases with a bar that you feed the keepers rod through. These goals were also included in the France 98 Edition and are included in the Premier Edition, the Deluxe Set and also the Manchester United set. Now out of stock on the Hasbro web site and have been for some time now.
