This is a picture of the delicious peach sponge cake beautifully made and decorated by my good friend Angela Smith. It went very well with the fairly traded wine we bought for the occasion!

Here I am cutting the cake amid rapturous applause!

 

This was the first performance by the newly formed John Watts Singers. We sang four unaccompanied hymns from the Hymn Book. The singers are, left to right, Richard Warson (bass), Jeremy Dickson (tenor), Kim Broadhead (alto), Gillian Warson (soprano). The harmonies were taken from Hymns Ancient and Modern, 1861.
