You will only hear the instructions on the first example MP3 file.
Two notes are played together as a chord. You will hear each chord twice. [In the examination you cannot hear the chords more than twice.]
There is then time for you to sing the LOWER then the UPPER note, but you may be wise to pause the playback anyway.
Finally, you will be played the 2 notes separately and given the answer.
