Spiritual Healing

Increasingly it is thought that "feeling well" is a state of mind, which depends on a balance between our emotional wellbeing and our physical health. Without knowing it we have always acknowledged the emotional concept of illness when we say we are feeling ill, or have got a disease (dis – ease).

Spiritual healing is about bringing a balance between our mind, body and spirit which allows us to attain a state of wellness.

There are three kinds of Spiritual Healing, Absent Healing (aka Distant Healing) / Contact Healing including magnetic healing.

All Spiritual Healers seek Healing for those that need it, through a means that cannot scientifically be proven to exist. Many Scientists accept that Healing does take place, they just do not know how. This does not mean that there is no scientific proof, only that science has not yet the language or detail needed to describe how and why Healing takes place.  

Spiritual healing is carried out by "Healers" although this is not an accurate term, most healers will say they do not heal, they only channel the healing energy to the patient.  As Spiritualists, Healing Mediums can channel the healing energy from Spirit to the patient. Reiki practitioners channel the healing energy from the "Universal Life Force". Since every philosophy calls their "healers" by a different name we will continue to call the person who channels the Healing energy a "Healer".

Spiritual Healing is not the property of any one religion or philosophy but has had a very long history. It encourages people to think about "life, the universe and everything" and so causes us to think about our spirituality not to change our religion. Faith Healing is quite different, in that it encourages you to think about your faith.

 Everyone can participate in healing during everyday contact with people, a smile may brighten someone's day enough for them to recover from stress. When you ask how a friend feels you can listen to their answer and be sympathetic.

When healing appears to fail this will depend on many factors.
