New Addington - Wednesday 10th May 2000 The official launch took place at New Addington terminus, many local dignitaries were present and the white ribbon was cut by The Mayor of Croydon and a retired London Transport tram driver from the 1950's, then for the rest of the day the Tramlink service was free for everyone to try.
