MILK CARTONS FROM MALTA

In 1938 there were quarter of a pint cartons of milk at One Penny and Twopenny half pint cartons of milk supplementing the traditional One Pint Glass bottles. Milk Cartons as we know them today were introduced to the Maltese Islands in September 1988, when 1 Litre cartons of Milk first went on sale. In July 1997 Glass milk bottles were phased out and cartons took over completely. My thanks to Joseph Grixti for many of the cartons listed and shown within these pages.
