This early Zodiac has been owned by the same family in France since it was purchased new.

The photo on the right is the car on the day that Jean-Pierre David’s Father bought it in November 1962

Here is the same car in 2008, now immaculately
maintained by Jean-Pierre himself.

C’est magnifique!

Colin Evans says that the restoration of his 1965 Zodiac Executive is ‘nearing completion’.
It looks beautifully finished to me!

After 13 years Brian (144) in Cornwall has finished restoring this Zodiac in time to take his daughter to her Leavers Ball in Newquay.

Garry Simpson in York has recently restored his Zodiac.

This Zodiac was bought new in April 1963 from Cochranes of Edinburgh for £999.19s.11d. It has been in the same family ever since and has now covered just 71,000 miles. Thanks to James McNie for the photo.

I have been receiving a lot of photos from Australia recently. This 1965 Zodiac belongs to David Pirotta from Melbourne, who has owned it for 25 years. It has 302ci V8 and a supercharger.

Alan Martin, also from Melbourne owns these 2 Zephyrs. The blue one is his daily driver, and the white one is now a rolling shell. Alan also has a Mk2 Estate.

Paul from New Zealand sent in these photos of his Zephyr. It has a 6-cylinder, 2000cc engine and drivetrain, as well as suspension and brakes from Nissan Sylvia. It is limited to 200 kmh… !

Wayne Jones in Melbourne, Australia restored both of these Zephyr 6s

Karol Montebello and his Father are restoring this Zephyr in Malta. They made the additional body moulding strips themselves, from brass which is to be chromed.
Don’t forget to send us a picture of the finished car, Karol.

This left-hand drive Zodiac is being restored by Marc Gimmel in Switzerland.

1964 Zodiac belonging to Garry Simpson.

Ian Woodward (34) has purchased Zena the Zodiac for restoration. Good luck, Ian!

Barry Goddard down under in Australia owns this very smart Zodiac in Malabu Gold.

Jason Harris and his parents own these two Zodiacs

My Zodiac with a nice unrestored Holden, which is doing a good impersonation of a Mk 2 Zodiac

Zephyr 6 of club member Ally (94)

Zephyr 4 with an American Ford cousin

Customised Mk4 with another  Mk3 in the background

The photos above were all taken at ‘Wheels Day 2008’. This event is held at Aldershot every Good Friday. The majority of cars are American but all classics are welcome.

Colin Bowra has sent us this photo of his Zephyr Historic Touring Car at Wanneroo Racing Circuit in Perth, Western Australia, where it holds the lap record for class NBd.

Kevin Turner in the Isle of Wight is the lucky owner of this pair of gold Zodiacs

Pat Sheehan has recently rejoined the club and bought this ’64 Zodiac for restoration.

Dave Keeping has acquired this Zephyr 4 as a restoration project. As you can see it has a lightweight body with the optional brown paper roof.

This seems a very ambitious project as there are one or two bits missing…

New member Kriss has sent me this picture of his very smart 1964 Zodiac in Imperial Maroon.

Matt Spanner has been very busy restoring his Zephyr 6 to a very high standard.
Well done, Matt!

Tony Holloway (238) bought this Zephyr 6 in 2004. Since then it has undergone extensive restoration and is now used every day.

Terje Reitan in Norway owns this very smart Zodiac with original leather interior.

Trevor Cook on New Zealand owns this collection of Zephyr 6s

George Bebikan’s V8 Zephyr at Santa Pod Raceway

The 3 pictures below were all provided by one of the Consul/Zephyr/Zodiac clubs in New Zealand

One of Arthur Whitaker’s collection. Many will recognize this as the Zodiac Estate of the late Bob Blanshard, which has won many trophies in the past.

Tony Bowers is rightly proud of this cool custom Zephyr 4.

Pascal Leuenberger from Switzerland has sent these pictures of his Zodiac.

Kevin Turner from the Isle of Wight owns this pristine white Zodiac.

Phil Ambler from New Zealand owns this Zodiac. It was used as a diplomatic car in
South-East Asia for the first year of its life before arriving in New Zealand in 1965.

Darren Beardsmore from New Zealand has sent me these photos of his V8 Zodiac

Stephen Rennie has owned this magnificent Zephyr 4 since 1985 and it still has only 63,000 miles on the clock.

Zephyr 8
We’ve all seen Zephyr 4s & 6s but here is a Zephyr 8! Club chairman Bill George probably doesn’t recognize this car but it used to belong to him. It used to have 4 less cylinders and much more rust. It now has a 302ci Ford V8 and a Leyland Sherpa petrol tank. When it was a Zephyr 4 this car appeared in the BBC2 television progamme ‘The Car’s the Star’. The new owner would very much like a video copy of that programme if anyone has one.

Another Zephyr 8!
Don’t believe the bootlid badge. This is another Zephyr 8.

Steve from Australia has sent me this picture of his Zephyr camped by a billabong

Stewart Flett with a Zephyr 4 that once belonged to the President of Zanzibar. The R on the number plate stands for 'Rais' which means President.

Gold Zodiac belonging to Kevin Lee

Martin Maher's Zodiac

Zephyr 6 of Mike Lowe

Mike Burger from New Mexico has sent me this photo of his 1965 Zephyr Estate, which has only 39,000 miles on the clock. Rust isn't so much of a problem in their dry climate but the sun has taken it's toll on the plastic and rubber bits.

Karl Schluter in New Zealand has sent this picture of his Zephyr 6.
Tyres must be cheap in New Zealand!

Jacques Botella from Guadeloupe (French West Indies) has sent me these pictures of his Zodiac soaking up the Caribbean sun.

Graham Spencer (152) has sent me this picture of his customised Zodiac. It is certainly a lot more more eye-catching than all those dull
Euro-hatches in the background.

This Zephyr came to an untimely end in the film "Get Carter" when Michael Caine pushed Bryan Moseley (a.k.a. Alf Roberts) off the top of a multi-storey car park.
'A big car, but it's in bad shape'.

John Sturdy has sent me several pictures of Police Mk3s, so I have given them their own page. Click on the little police car below to go to that page.
