Hello, hello, hello, what's all this then?.

This fabulous Police Zephyr 6 belongs to club member Adrian Cottle. The photos above and below were taken at the 2008 Goodwood Revival Meeting.

Here the Zephyr is with a BMW Police car from West Germany.

This car belonged to the Warwickshire Constabulary.

Andy Bolam sent the next few pictures of Police
Zephyrs

Train spotting? An interesting one. The car has a London registration but the Metropolitan Police did not use Mk3 Zephyrs.
(Arthur Whitaker has solved the mystery. It is a British Transport Police car – obvious really considering the setting of the picture!)

This looks like a picture from the Z-Cars Annual that I had! Is it?

An interesting line-up of Police vehicles, but can someone please tell me what that is between the Zephyr & the Land Rover?

The registration number reflects the weather conditions. Brrrr!
Would anyone dare tell this officer that he is driving on the wrong side of the road?

The interior of a Police Zephyr. I wonder if a modern Police publicity photo would show an officer using the phone while driving without wearing a seatbelt?

John Sturdy has sent in these pictures of Police Zephyrs, all from Yorkshire's West Ridings Constabulary

This looks like a scene from 'Heartbeat'

This car lost an argument with a brick bus shelter. John says the driver was not to blame so it must have been the bus shelter's fault.

I am guessing that this is a motorway patrol estate car.

Look at the registration number on this car - BWW 698B......

Then go and buy the 'Vanguards' model Zephyr 6.....

..and look at the registration number.....BWW 698B !
(My wife thinks that I am the saddest person in the world for noticing that
- I really should get out more)

If you have any more Mk3 police car pictures, then send them in. Click on the picture below to go back to the main 'photos' page.
